Moderate Restoration (Level Two)

The photograph is in moderate to poor condition with noticeable damage or deterioration that does not significantly affect important detail areas. This service is suitable for more serious damage or deterioration including minor damage to facial and other important detail areas but is unsuitable if complex reconstruction is required. For example a minor scratch through someone’s face is acceptable so long as it does not obscure facial features such as eyes, nose or mouth.

Level two includes level one service plus

• Minor facial/body damage not requiring significant artistic reconstruction
• Moderate scratching or cracking
• Moderate discolouration or fading (i.e. all essential detail is still completely visible)
• Torn pieces (important areas must be present)
• More serious damage to small non-essential areas of the photograph
